Trip to Seoul on 11 March - 18 March 2012

Depart from KUL to Miri : 18.03.2012, MH2592, 8.30-10.45am

We were using Air Asia from Miri to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 11 march 2012. Air asia flight was AK5187, Dep. time: 19.05 (7.05pm), arrived at LCCT arrival hall at 9.30pm. I waited for about 15 min to claim the luggage. The confidence Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd ground arrangement guide and assistant were waiting for us to help us to check in for the connecting flight to Incheon, korea airport. Due to less than three hours connecting flight, We had to rush and run to the counter to check in. If we were to delay for another few minutes we would miss the flight to check in anymore. The flight from Miri to KL LCCT was booked by a local agent. It was risky to have such a flight arrangement with less than 3 hours.

Once we reached the departure hall, the passengers started boarding at 10.00pm, even though the schedule flight was at 11.00pm.

Upon arrival at Incheon 仁川 airport on 12th march 2012, we had to take an hour for immigration check and to take photos for their biometric identification entry process, then we proceeded to claim our luggages and met by our Korean tourist guide who could speak mandarin.

In Seoul 首尔 the first day of the destination was Nami island 南怡岛 (winter sonata 冬季恋歌) tour. Our group consisted of nine persons and we toke a coach and a boat ride to the Nami Island . The lover road’s scenery is lovely and is a good place for photo shooting.

In the afternoon we proceeded to the Teddy Bear Farm 泰迪熊博物馆. This centre displayed various variety of teddy bears from all over the worlds and offered a glimpse into the lifestyle of Sokcho through teddy bears.
