Chinese New Year - ang pau packet 紅包 袋 (a)
This year 2012 is the year of Dragon according to the Chinese calendar. The red packet (紅包) is usually designed with lucky symbols and words to depict luck, wealth and prosperous.
Hence, the ang pau packets that you see or receive will display the dragon element in one form or other. Collection of ang pau packet has become a hobby of most people. Most collectors will try all means to collect various beautifully designed packets or exchange with friends to increase their collections.
